i took out the fuel pump of my 04 busa,,
i wanted to inspect the filter,, i could remove the nuts holding wires using a 7mm wrench,, but couldn't remove the screws holding the pump to the plate,, they would strip before unscrewed,,

any ideas?

well i wont sugest a blow torch on them lol

i use a small 1/4 drive with a good fitting bit so you can get firm pressure plus added leverage.

that said its not something you want to go busting screws on so applying heat with hot air may help if theres thread lock on the screws.

WD-40 letting it soak for at least a couple of hours while spraying it every 20mins or so. If you do strip it, remember that you can always turn it into a flathead screw using a steady hand and a dremmel with a metal cutting bit! Used that method on brake master cylinders several times thoughout the years. Just replace the screw(S) when done.
