Front Sprocket

I am in the process of swapping both sprockets and chain. The stock (03') front sprocket is sandwiched with two rubber pieces, look like dampners. New JT sprocket does not. I am assuming I don't need these cause they sure as hell are not coming off the old sprocket. Will the new set up feel any different without them? Kind of a neat Suzuki engineering thing, for noise, vibration and harshness?

Nope, not needed. Also, expect a slight gear like "whine" after the swap. The 10's stock cs sprocket had the rubber dampers on it and the AFAM replacement didn't. Definitely a bit noisier than the stock one. Not really obnoxious, just noisier. Of course I wear earplugs, so your mileage may vary.
