From Mild to Loud

Well now it's time to prep the CT exhaust for installation..Brock recommends copper high temp sealant, so I got some and applied it to the spigots.

I found out during this process that there are two versions of this exhaust. The regular one that comes with a mid pipe and there is a megaphone one that has no mid pipe. I happen to have the megaphone version. So I had to install this bracket behind the brake side rearset.

Looks good. How do you like the sound?

The sound of this pipe is kinda,,, moto GP'ish.. not as loud as that,, but damn close. I see why they sell a noise reducer plug.. I love loud pipes, and as of right now, i have not intentions of reducing the sound at all..

Note*** This was the first time I had taken the tail section off my bike.. The things I found in there,, lol,, I found:

-$1.36 in change
- a screwdriver I had lost a couple years ago
- 2 screws that I had since replaced
- about 2 lbs of dust (more weight savings after I cleaned it up)
- and I found a small bundle of zip ties that was left from the factory..

So now I have the exhaust mounted, but I don't have springs.. The guy I brought it from could only find 8 of the original ones...So after a bunch of searches, I finally broke down and paid the $6 a peace. .. OUCH!!:banghead:

I got a map that was checked with a wego from a guy from cali.. It's for a gen II, stock motor, ss alien head exhaust with bmc filter... I have a gen II, bmc filter, and ah can't be too different from the ct. . So I loaded this map as a base.

Great job, from memory the factory exhaust and O2 are in the neighborhood of 40 lbs. My short meg is 7 your Ti should be less than 7.

I really hate covering this header up...

Also, this exhaust comes with a bung installed, BUT it does not fit the stock O2 sensor.. So I shaved .025 off the top of the plug and tapped it to fit the stock narrow band... Voila! O2 bushing... I also had to extend the cable.. Stock position is brake side, on the CT exhaust it's clutch side..

Nice going bro!Great look, sound, and top of the line performance exhaust, can't beat it!:beerchug:

Ok,, I have done a few more things to baby since I last posted.. First off I removed all the oil from my BMC filter. I found out that over oiling can lead to hp loss. So Im Oil Free for the first time since I bought the damn thing. I also disconnected my crank case vent from my air box and performed the "Pair Sucker" mod. Pics Below. So what you are seeing is the Pair Valve assembly as it comes from the factory from Suzuki... (I assume everyone on this forum knows this already, but you know what they say about 'assuming')
