I am not making this up, It actually happened
My G/f at the time was feeling very ill and had me drive her home in her car. I was in kinda a hurry as I didn't want her to be sick in the car .
Sure as shootin I see the lights come on in the rear view.
Cop has me step outside of the car and gives me the old "do you know why I pulled you over? "
I said -- I'm not sure -- was I going too fast?
He says does the speedometer not work in your car?
I said my speedometer works fine
he says then why don't you know how fast you were going?
I said -- well thats not MY CAR.
he stifled a laugh as I explained to him about my girl being sick and all and he had me wait by his car while he talked to her -- he let me go and said get her home -- but keep the speed down please.
