First day of Spring - What are you doing?

Love my part of the country.

Insured and rode my pro street chopper yesterday.

Today was the wifes turn,insured and rode the HD Electra Glide Classic.

Had my nephew along on the chopper he bought from me.

First rides of the season.

It was in the mid 50's here in south western VA. After sleeping most of the day sense im on night shift all weekend, I got up and checked my valve clearences and reshimmed my exhaust vavles. Now she is purring like a kitten. Then i put on my race gas tank. Less than 2 weeks till Maxton's opener. Should be fun and fast.

went to my freinds garage to work on the truck and see if i can get it running right...we piddled around and found the coolant temp sensor was broke.... replaced and everything allll goood... so i changed the oil...oh...and cleaned the yard

Juli and I had our first two up ride today. Had dinner at a new bar down on the river and put about 100 miles on the bike. Great day. I also got to clean my bike and take off all the tape from yesterdays track sessions.

Worked all night, slept through some beautiful weather, and went back to work which is where I am now. Rain is supposed to be moving back in on Tuesday and Wednesday just in time for me to have some time off. I'm about ready to hop a plane to somewhere nicer!!!

3 Days. 938 Miles. Just got back. First ride on the new Busa. My hands are still buzzing & still feel like I'm on the motorcycle. That lasts about a day.

yeah, its not the ocean just yet, we are on the sound (LI Sound) so that's CT in the distance. The Ocean is about 2miles farther east

thanks but it comes with its drawbacks as well. Anyone that's lived on a moving body of water of any size will tell you that the weather patterns can be harsh. We have wicked winds all winter and its typically 10-15 degrees colder here than even 3miles father up the island. Spring through early fall though are pretty nice

I'm going to be in Santa Ana Cali for the next 3-4 months so the wife and kids will get to enjoy all the nice weather, I just get to come home and mow the yard on the weekends
