(mymaster @ Jul. 03 2007,03:35) I predict someone will start a thread about dissecting and possible starting rumors about flaws of a new motorcycle 4 to 5 months before it's released to the public.

That multi-mode performance gimmic thingy may pose a challenge for after market performance mods.

Here are some pictures of the 2008 Hayabusa. I love the color schemes and I looking forward to buying the orange and black. Let me know what you think about the new tail section.

(Busa444 @ Jul. 03 2007,07:35) I agree with GMBusa with possible starter issues and in addition with the stator down low in front of the rear tire may be easily damaged.
I worried about the voltage regulator too, but you got to remember that the belly pan will be there. Hopefully it can withstand the wet.

I think the first problems will be with the charging system.then possible cam chain adjuster again.there is already a recall on 07 1000's for the charging system.

I think the biggest problem will be with the new multi mode power selector. TRE's will no longer be able to be installed on the new bike. Being a thing of the past, everyone will forget the the age old question!

Excellent point!

That's one improvement that should have been made at the factory years ago, and it doesn't cost anything.

Gotta be the new electronics that fail.

Cop magnet, bald tires, possible starter issue...... worst of all outside of the bike itself..... "Insurance companies (the mob)"

I will go out on a limb and predict it will be issues with the Fuel injection/emissions!

Everything else is proven technology but the new dual Throttle blades and Cats etc are all a new twist.

I haven't heard this mentioned so I'll throw it out...the clutch might be the first big issue.  I'm just happy the bike has been updated

I hate the mode selector...so it will hopefully just get stuck in A mode. I would fear that somehow, someway the dumbdown switch would interfere w/ optimal acceleration and top speed.

Those rear turn signal pods will fly off at speed and the ZX-14 will run over them and crash.

(GMbusa @ Jul. 02 2007,19:57) I'd say it will be a starter/battery issue with the higher cranking compression.

The titanium valves maybe the weak point, engine tuners usually replace them on the 600's and 100's so expect a weakness here!
