Finally hit the 60,000 mile mark (Thanks, HPC)

Finally did it this morning. Started riding at 4:30 am. It was 32* when I left and rode for about 4 hours to get to this point. She's exactly 2 years, 2 months and 2 days old as of today. Next goal, put 40,000 miles by September 27 of next year. Of course, thanks to Greg and Terra for your support. Just wanted to share with you all.

No major problem. Only two things I remember were cush drive and fork seals. The rest is regular maintenance.

Thats a lot of miles for MD... congrats. I have 10,630 in a 1 year and 2 months. I'm not a cold junkie...above 40 is good.

Thanks again, everyone. It's really not easy to do . There were times when I can't ride for weeks. You know, winter, kids' after school activities, working 10 to 12 hours a day 6 days a week, etc.

Get up at 3:45 am and do a minimum of 100 miles before coming to work. Weekends, too. Weather permitting, of course.
