finally finished my truck grille, all opinions welcome!

no goin back this time since i painted the inserts black, think it turned out really good though. Also took the plastic chin skirt off the very bottom of the bumper, i think it makes it look like it has a bit more ground clearance. Let me know what u think

Looks nice but that 'chin skirt' is actually an air dam that curls air around and up into the engine bay. Without it your truck will run hotter.

I've been running without that front skirt since i've had the truck and never had any cooling issues. Infact i wish i could get mine hotter most of the time.

Looks good i've never been a fan of the all chrome front ends. I vote night runner the headlights!!!

i agree, i don't think that little chin skirt would affect cooling the motor at all. Really don't see how it could funnel any air to the engine what so ever. Might have to check out this night runner headlight u speak of. New bilstein shocks are on the way and might get a magnaflow ypipe to open up the borla cat back and give it more of a throaty sound

Yours would look good since you have the later headlights. Factory night runners were only avail for 06 but have the amber strip on the bottom. I got a deal on some used 08's opened em up and took care of the mod for around 15 bucks

looks good, i agree needs the black headlights now, and ive ripped that chin skirt of several from 06-08 and none had a noticeable adverse effect on cooling. and thats with enough weight in the bed to sag out 2500 springs.

Much better with it completely done. With just the inserts it looked kinda sketchy but with the inserts and the black grill.. LOOKS AWESOME. :thumbs:
