THERE IS NO NITROUS ON THE BIKE!! It is flattering that you think there is but there isn't. I'm going to try and set the bike up better for him to ride and will be shooting for low .70s and maybe even .60s

This is true. I too run the same air shifter and get that popping sound and I don't run gas. People do believe I run gas because of the popping. Even won a 100 dollar bet that I was running gas and won of course.

Well I can 60 foot mine at 1.42 and can't touch the 8's. I'm going to assume it's race fuel and a guy that weighs nothing, and with a busa that has a major diet. Suited I'm more like 225 or maybe more.

That is because you are hung like a baby's arm holding a Jonathan apple:whistle:

I weigh right at 215-220 unsuited and with a 1.53 60' I have been 9.32. The only weight reduction done to the bike is a +6" tailsection and the Tiwinder. I weighed the bike with me on it and it weighed 727 lbs so it could stand to lose a few more pounds in all actuality. I use VP U4.4 mainly for the consistency of the fuel more than the hp. I have nothing to hide

holly crap, man I need practice.... I've only been a few times, and still trying to get 9's (first Gen frame and motor, but mods and dyno'd at 190 RWHP on motor)
any idea what this bike cranks out on the dyno?

I guess we just need to lose a bunch of weight! Every winter I say I'm going on a diet so I can be faster! I've been a 9.22 on mine with the crap pump fuel, never ran race fuel of any kind.

 You'd swear all 3 of us have nearly the same exact set-up minus different exhaust and we all wanna lose weight. I'm down to 190lbs unsuited now and shooting for another 10-15 more

Lose about 60 lbs and see where you stand. The bike isn't stripped at all. I'm 165 suited. Just in the weight difference there's .3 right there. Just because you can 60 foot really good doesn't mean everything. A lot of guys will dump the hell out of the clutch and get a good 60' and fall on their face at the 330. Post a slip and that'll show right there..

I heard a pop-----pop----pop in top gears? anyone else thinking what I'm thinking?

I am seeing a blue colored bottle in the swingarm? Most NHRA DOT air tanks are aluminum brushed. Pop Pop during the shifts is the extra fuel burning from the Nitrous or his ignition kill is to long and by the sound of the video that bike IS spraying! Sorry been around the track for to many years. Sell it to someone else.

Nitrous stretched busa with a light weight jockey yes 8's all day long.

Watch the launch in the first video, for a Penske shock it doesnt appear to be sqauting as much as I seen other high 8's busas leave. :dunno:

Yes it is a nitrous bottle that is underneath there. It is filled with CO2 and the line only runs to the shift solenoid. You have me rolling over here saying you can hear the bike spraying. Do you not see the mph on the slip?? There is no way you can mph like that with nitrous. Apparently you need to hang around the track more often.

I've already said I would take a video of the bottle and follow the line to the shift solenoid to prove there is no nitrous on the bike. There are some other people from the area here on the org that can confirm if needed. I've already said I have nothing to hide so why would I lie about nitrous being on the bike?? If I was a grudge racer yeah I could see but then I'm not going to post my time on a forum for the world to see!?!?

That right there is the weight difference. Fiend is about your weight and he only goes high 140's mph. Think about it. Thats a good pass man! My buddy has a first gen with a 1441 and he's about 220 suited and he's only been high 8.90's at high 140's and i've been 8.68@157 on his..

 All this comin from a guy that can't even distinguish between a 1st and 2nd gen Busa and YOU OWN ONE. Last time I checked it wasn't illegal nor impossible to fill a nitrous bottle with CO2. Better yet how about he can take his "nitrous" bottle out and i'll make a pass foot shifting. Would that make you feel better? If you would like I can take video as well with all my gear on and show you I'm 165lbs suited.. Not much of a lightweight. If you've spent a lot of time at the track you obviously weren't paying attention. And I bet that really makes you wonder why if it has a Penske shock and its not squatting with a 165lb rider when the owner is 220lbs.. hmmmm

I only go 147 mph on the motor on my bike and i'm goin 158mph on the spray. If Fiend was actually spraying i'd be going 160mph or faster.. Use your head.

The motor I have been around this bike through its entire build and have seen every part installed the 8.81 pass was made on a night where the altitude was around -200 ft which helps the motor the cycle-tel analog kill Boca will not kill long enough for the n big bikes which results in the pop on reignition of the fuel in motor if u guys wanna talk mess come get a lane with mine or his stock motor busas we will both walk you

I believe it. My 08 was stock motor, TiForce street pipe. 5 1/2" over, 17/45 gears, quick foot shifter, Traxxion shock, stock clutch setup with a shim behind 3 of the springs.. I weighed in at 261 suited, and with only a 1.55 60', I went a 9.35 at 147.97mph.
My buddy got on it at 200 pounds and went a 1.48, 5.88 and a 9.10 at 152mph. If it had a sidewinder, air shifter and a 165 pound rider, it would easily run those ETs.
