Congrats Brandon! :beerchug:

Bike runs good....it's obvious it doesn't have nitrous, look at the slip and MPH.

150's is normal for a Gen-II, if it had spray it would be in the 160's...DUH.. :banghead:

Thanks. Im going to put a new tire on it this week and try to find somewhere to add a little bit of weight up front and drop a tooth on the rear and hope it helps him with the wheelies. The bike is setup for me and I out weigh him by 60 lbs so it's not optimal for him.

I didn't even think about the mph on the slip haha

That's flying. I wish I could see MPH like that....my highest MPH is 148, but I have about 50lbs on that guy. My CO2 shifter shoots fireballs every shift at WOT. What gearing is the bike at on those passes?

Gearing is 17-47 on those passes. When I ride I usually mph 147 or 148 unless we're in good air.

Nice runs!!! Definitely not an N2O pass, that's just a good rider on a bolt on Gen 2  Mine pops like that too while I'm airshifting N/A. While I'm spraying the pop sounds more like a car backfire. My 14 seems to do it worse than the Busa for some reason, not sure why.

Alright, now that makes a lot more sense. I've been at 17-46 almost all year and we really thought we needed another tooth in back to fully use 5th gear and after seeing this, I knew I should have gone with that

If you only kill the ignition on the shift they will pop. The louder the exhaust, the more noticeable the pop. If you use ECU kill you can kill the fuel and there really isn't a pop.

Good job to the rider. That's a good et and mph for the 60' at that weight. The air must have been pretty good too.

Well that explains why my 14 pops louder than my Busa. Brocks Alien Head compared to a Muzzy SS Oval

Where does it say anywhere in this thread that the bike is a gen 1? Did you not watch the video and clearly see that it is in fact a gen 2?

I'm with you dragonbusa,

I've been around a lot of bikes and some pop from the air shifter but none pop like that. I have an air shifter on my 08 Busa and it doesn't pop like that. That's gas (NOS) making it pop like that. We have a ton of grudge bikes down here in GA and SC and everyone of them pop like that. Gas. Sorry to say it.

LOL. And what kind of mph to you see 2nd gens run on spray? Do the math dude. There's no way it would only go mid 150's on the spray. And the fact that it didn't even pic up 30mph on the back half will tell you right there if you know anything about nitrous..

Bring me another 2nd gen setup like Fiend's is and i'll just as fast on it.

THERE IS NO NITROUS ON THE BIKE!! It is flattering that you think there is but there isn't. I'm going to try and set the bike up better for him to ride and will be shooting for low .70s and maybe even .60s

If you're basing the bike having nitrous because of "popping" sounds vs. actually looking at the MPH and ET, you need to spend more time at the track.

Well I can 60 foot mine at 1.42 and can't touch the 8's. I'm going to assume it's race fuel and a guy that weighs nothing, and with a busa that has a major diet. Suited I'm more like 225 or maybe more.
