FI light and all dash lights on even when switched off!

Hi, I am not sure if anyone has had this before - I have a 2001 busa. This morning starting the bike for work she ran and then all the lights came on. she still runs but the lights stay on.
I looked at the thread for looking at fault codes but my dash is different to the one in the picture. All the screens show is 88888.
Can anyone shed some light on this before I get a massive dealer bill?!
She has got nitrous on but its not set up yet and there was an air shifter which I removed as it bent the gear shift so she wouldnt select gears. All the mods were done by the previous owner (badly).

I'd test the battery, first. It'll act all wonky when the battery goes bad!!

If the battery is ok try another set of gauges.

The regulator or rectifier could cause weird stuff too.

this happened to my zx10, I had a chaffed wire under the seat shorting on the sub frame.
