I try as hard as I can (Well, most of the time)

to obey the speed laws. Unfortunately, there are times that I have not obeyed those laws and one time in particular (recently) was nabbed by a bear... I knew better because the highway I was on can at times be a pretty heavily traveled one, however, on the day in question there was not a soul in sight, the weather was perfect, and my riding partner just had to coax me into running the fat girls up a little

Well, the good news is although he clocked us on radar at 157, he could not get us locked until we were already down to 107... He was hiding in the shade underneath an overpass, behind a concrete pillar...

So, 107 in a 65... I know, I know

Glad you noticed the "Big Pimp" tag !!! Moto started calling me that and kept throwing up my "Pimp Pic", so I figured I would go ahead and live it a little !!!

The cop was actually real cool about it. As soon as we saw him turn around and throw on the lights we just slowed right down and pulled over to wait for him. I was pretty freaked at first because I didn't know how much we had slowed down before he locked us in, so when he said 107 I laughed inside and let out a big breath of relief. He told us he first got us at 157, but said he could not believe how fast we got down to 107..

I hired an attorney who specializes in traffic tickets, so hopefully he gets me a little love on the thing...

This is actually my first ticket since 1984 so I don't feel too bad about it.. I just hope to avoid any future love letters from my friends at the CHP

I normally go way out in the middle of nowhere to let the big girl breathe a little, but a shortened ride time due to other commitments that day and being away from her for a few weeks at work faded my better judgement !!! Needless to say, it has cooled my jets and reminded me of why I go WAY out to have fun...

I got a 93 in a 30 a (very) long time ago in a car. Few years back, not really speeding, a Careless & Imprudent after I hit a left turning van (my fault, yes it hurt) on a 750 Honda. I got a lawyer and it was reduced to a non-moving violation.

My worst was 60 in a 40 leaving the Tail of the Dragon down by the lake. They let me go to safe driving class and pay a fine. No points or insurance impact.

89 in a 60 and I got a €90 ticket. Had to pay it cause he saw me undertaking 2 cars also and said he'd do me for dangerous driving if I didn't pay the speeding fine.

Over here lots of people stay at 60 in the fast lane, even when the slow lane is free, it frustrates me and I always end up undertaking.

Got pulled for doing a big ole smokie at an intersection... little back ground on it. I had a guy in an S10 tailgating me all the way through this town, we are talkin several miles at 35-45mph limits. when I say tailgating, I mean you woulda been hard pressed to get any other vehicle between us, I'd guess less than 7'. Obviously frustrated, he kept sneaking up on my rear tire at the light so I just said fug it. I just sat there and lit up the rear tire, got the entire intersection smokin and then right when the light went red I pulled through. Unfortunately, I didnt see the unmarked patrol car with his lights flashing to my left.

I decided to pull into the next shopping center and just deal with the consequences. So the guy comes flying in, I'm waiting with the bike off, helmet off and license/registration in my hand. About 3seconds later 5-6 other cops come in from all different angles. I plead my case, this guy was the shift sargent and goes back to his cruiser and then I see the other guys take off.... I'm like, either I'm screwed or golden

The funniest part, while keeping me on the verge of pooping my pants, he tells me he pulled up to the intersection and thought "wtf is this guy doing what I think he is?" then he said it was just plain funny that the S10 had a steaming pile of rubber and road crap on the front end of his truck. I explained the situation, he said keep it under control and have a good night

Turns out there was a cop a few cars back of the S10 getting ready to ticket him for following too closely and the sargent was being asked to come help with the stop.

Speeding wise, been pulled for well in excess of the 150 mark and actually passed the cop coming through the median going for my buddy who was way out in front of me. I start slowing down and eventually get pulled. Cop said he had no clue how fast I was going, radar flashed something he didnt believe and he didnt even know I was on the road, he was going for my buddy that was already at the next interchange. We talked for a few, he let me go and I went on my way to Myrtle Beach. Same cop got my buddy 2x that night as he was trying to circle back and find me. Wrote him both times in two different counties and for two different speeding violations

I think in most cases if you are cool with the cops and do the right thing they will return the favor
