Exhaust can exit pipe

Hopefully someone knows this.
Just got a Yosh rs-1 can from Vic_E55_2001 (from the board). I noticed the exit part of the can its much smaller than my TRS race can was and it is way quieter than my shorty(ha ha)or even the TRS before the mods to it. So is the smaller exit pipe gonna hurt me much? Or what is the smallest size that it can be before it will hurt. I can see how what i got would be good for dual pipes, but i have the 4-2-1.
Whats the deal anyways? Should i gut and remove that smaller pipe from the inside of the can?

That's the noise dampening baffle in there.  Usually that's the only diff between the Yosh's one's baffled, and the 'race' versions are not.

I did take it for a little ride today. MUCH MUCH quieter than what im used to, but really nice. It may be just me but it does feel like it has a slight bit more grunt bottom end wise.
