Evil Dead remake...anyone see it?

i saw it and its good, more gore and more gore, did i mention gore ps if your an Army of Darkness fan stay till the very end of the credits.

Gore doesn't bother me, but did it have a decent story? I hate stupid stories

It looks decent and is on my list... being as I have seen how much of a 'fraidy cat Bots is... runs from silly little banjo music... I just don't know hum much I would put behind his opinion on horror movies... my favorite horror movie is The Ring... FWIW.

are you familiar with the original Evil Dead? if so the storyline is similiar with some twists, much, much better than the first.

and i would agree with you 30 days of night was awesome and an original, these days thats very unusual for any movie.

I'll admit, if I've seen the original, it was a LONG time ago...last week I decided to give Evil Dead 2 a shot on Netflix, and I made it all of 15 minutes...dumbest thing I've ever seen The story was stupid, the special effects weren't special at all, and this is one of those horror movies that horror fans insist you "have to see", so I wonder what kinds of people are being pegged as "horror fans"? That certainly wasn't anything I could sit through...

Wife and I saw the last Tx chainsaw movie. Every second I was like that wouldn't happen.
I'd rather watch Deniro in Cape Fear than go to any of the new ones.
Suspense I like, stupid scary movies just to see idiots open doors and get cut up I don't.

yes the first two Evil Deads in my opinion were absolutely stupid, this new one is good im not a great movie critic so don’t hate if you don’t like it.

1 of my best friends seen it on Friday and told me it was lame and wasnt scary @ all I had plans to go see it tonight with my girl but I'm having doubts cause i keep hearing more and more negative reviews. I think the last good horror movie I seen was Insidious.

This is like going to a haunted house on Halloween.
It's just not scary. The guy poppin out of the door ain't gonna hurt you so it's just lame.

Silence of the Lambs was a good one.

I seem it opening day and liked it. Very gory, pretty corny but I like to watch about anything.
