the really good riding weather started about 2-3 weeks ago and should last into late September, so about four good months and you can stretch it out to five with proper gear. It is great in the summer because it never gets dark. Many times lately I have woken at three in the morning and I can hear Evelyn in the garage calling. There is never much traffic, the light is still okay, and I can let her breathe a little.

You do have to watch out for the occasional moose though.
