Well I just noticed that all the pumps around here now have stickers saying contains 10% ethanol? Now it's my understanding that ethanol burns slower than typical 87oct... but doesn't contain as much energy? Am I right here? Anyway, this is my first tank with the stuff... and I wasn't sure if I should continue to use 87oct with this new 10% garbage added, or if I should use something little high octane? I'm not easy on my bike, and I just want to keep her happy. I filled up with 93oct this past time around... but just want to get your opinion on 87oct w/ethanol.
