Well I would say this isnt a good sign.

When the liberal media is publishing this and bringing to light that there is a growing concern from all parties that president Obama might not have what it takes, this cant be good.

Fineman: Establishment Starts to Turn on Obama | Newsweek Voices - Howard Fineman | Newsweek.com

Then add to the fact that president Obama talks about bring all parties together yet the democrats are making a big deal about Rush.

Come on dems, he is a radio talk show personality, he isnt a politician. since when has Rush been a larger crisis that needed to be focused on than our countries current problems?

If president Obama cant even keep the democrats under control, focues and inline then what chance does he have of doing any good?

I was trying to be opened minded and letting him govern for awhile before making a judgement, but the dog just ain't hunting ...

Re: establishment is beginning to mumble that the president may not have what it take

Warren Buffett was on CNBC disagreeing with every major decision of Obama including but not limited to cap and trade, demonizing CEO's, and card check.

Throwing stones is what his administration does best. He started a campaign in the white house headed by emanuel to target rush limbaugh. The reason they are doing that is because he's is probably getting through to people somewhere. So they want to discredit him.

supposedly they have even started an anti rush website.

Yeah me too.

So far I am not getting a wam fuzzy. I am seeing possibly have the amount of mortgage interest I can write off taken away

In california they are going to double our vehicle registration AND they are talking about taxing us on how many miles we drive.

I am looking at having my gun rights infringed upon further.

I am seeing billions of dollars being given to the housing industry but the market still sucks and I cannot even get rid of a rental house I want to get out from under. It was something that just kind of happened, we used to live in it and the only way we could get into our house we are in now was to turn that one into a rental. Never wanted to get into the rental business and now our current renters moved out because they split up, no one else has dropped an app off so now we are having to pay the mortgage on it.

I have been wanting to sell it to pay off bills and havent been able to because of the housing market crash.

so all this money they are throwing at the housing market sure in the heck isnt filtering its way down to where it is helping me sell my house.

So all I am seeing and feeling is things getting worse personally. I am in no way seeing anything getting better.

And I was reading an article about the Iraqi pull out. the Iraqis are fearful of us pulling out. But we are going to do it anyway.

Well he has handed over the keys to the most liberal of the liberal with his appointments.. His fiscal plan is actually Pelosi and company...

At least he is making excuses for snubbing the Brits due to the immensity of his fiscal problems.. (thought Pelosi and Reid did all that?)

he is also taking some victory tours? scuse me?

He wants to lead? he needs to put a halt to the almost 9% increase in the budget.
Put the kabosh on senseless travel by all the members of the house/congress
Tell Pelosi to park her jets
start belt tightning at the upper most levels of govt... My gosh, everyone is being asked to suck it up while they blow it out (our money that is)

He screams from the highest towers about how bad this is and then I see the earmarks, waste and outright abuse of the system by those put in charge...

I am not so sure that the military will not just take power some day here... (might be a welcome change at the rate we are going)...

Re: establishment is beginning to mumble that the president may not have what it take

Guys, come on, we all knew it would take more than two months to undo ALL that has been done.

IT IS CALLED THE BENEFIT OF A Doubt

I see plenty of people waiting in the wings, ready to claim a failure.

2 months ain't much of a chance if you ask me.

Funny how everyone's tolerance has gone to zero NOW, wonder where it has been the last 8 years.....................

Re: establishment is beginning to mumble that the president may not have what it take

Ya this is a GREAT time to take away mortgage deductions :cookoo:

He says he's not gonna raise taxes for middle class but is there really a dif. when you add carbon tax to the industries. The added cost is going to the consumers. Utilities are going to go up at least 25%

I understand it was / is going to take awhile. But what is kind of freaking me out is the media has allways been democratic biased. Most of the medias funding comes from that side of the house.

So for a news report to come out so early like this, kind of worries me.

And for it to say that goverment officials are now starting to be concerned. you are right. it takes more than a few months, but for people in these postions to start to publicly question him so early in the game (in addition to my own misgivings), causes me concern.

Unlike Rush, I do NOT hope president Obama fails. I dont think our country has to time to have him fail and for someone else to pick up the peices. I truly hope he succeeds. I hope to God he succeeds. I dont believe in cutting off your nose to spite your face.

So I want him to succeed. but I am having growing concerns

YA about those earmarks. The same earmarks he said time and time again when he was campaigning for months saying he's "gonna do away with all useless spending and earmarks and porkulous projects if I have to go through page by page" HA he has the biggest porkulous bill know to this country:rulez: LIAR LIAR LIAR

Which policies are you wanting him to succeed in?

No kidding. That is like sucker punching the mortgage industry.

One of the main selling points for a home has ALLWAYS been the tax write off aspect of it. which is the mortgage interest.

If they take that away, or a good portion of it they are going to take away one of the biggest reasons to buy a house.

That is like telling someone you will set and splint their broken arm, then break their legs afterwards

here we go again... when is the Bash...

I wish the Pres would buy and ride a Busa to the bash.... it sure would quiet things down here...

Re: establishment is beginning to mumble that the president may not have what it take

I want him to fail. I can admit it. He's trying to destroy the country and I think it's on purpose. He WANTS us to be dependant on the govt. It's all about power. How much of the banks can they control. How much of the auto industry, health care, utilities. and trying to step in on private businesses. He is a socialist. Why would I want him to succeed?

At this point I just want to see the country get back on its feet. Whatever will help this country I want to see him succeed.

I think he needs to really focus on solar and natural energy.

I think he needs to force the auto manufactures to do a better job a prdoucing fuel efficient cars

He is bailing out the housing industry, but the housing undustry isnt making the loans they are supposed to be making. they need to be holding the housing undustries feet to the fire.

He is a fricken leader, if this country. he needs to be showing signs of strength, he needs to be telling the American people it will be ok, constantly shedding a light of gloom and dispair. honesty is one thing, but a leader needs to make everyone feel things are going to be ok, sometimes even when things look grim.

a big part of the problem right now is fear, people are afraid to spend, even if they have money, because of all the doom and gloom. if people were not so afraid to buy things then maybe our economy would start picking up.

I dont want to see any success in anything that will turn us into a socialist society. but I would like to see him succeed in any indeavor that would be benaficial to our country.

The bottom line is we are stuck with this guy for 4 years. If he totally fails and screws everything up what will happen to this country?

We just need to hope republicans can step up to the plate and stop anything from happening that will totally jack this country up

Well the sad truth is there is nothing republicans do to stop anything he wants to do. All we can do is TRY to slow him down. If he succeeds with his current plan we will have socialized healthcare, banks heading there now, and auto, energy is headed that way. Whats left if the govt. controls all that to keep us from being a socialist country? food? At least not all of the pork money is going to be spent by then. If we can get some control back than we have some hope. OR if he listens to EVERYONE else besides polosi, axelrod, emanuel, and dodd and changes his policies  like that would happen

Say whatever you want, just get elected.

Re: establishment is beginning to mumble that the president may not have what it take

It doesn't matter who the prez is, republican/democrat, the rich are in power. Not the politicians.

Think about it. Why bail out the banks to stop foreclosures? If you give the banks money, they have absolutely no reason to work with people in trouble with their mortgages. Don't give them any money and they'll be wheeling and dealing with home owners who could make their payments. 20% equity needed for refinance. Hah, that is a meaningless number when the market is being driven down because banks refuse to refinance. How can anyone sell a home right now, they're competing against foreclosures and short sales?

So you say why should people who didn't invest intelligently get a great refi when you, who invested intelligently, didn't make their mistake. Because its affecting you now!! Your house value is way down, it affects us all. Its time to stop whining about the principle of a thing, heck you can refinance as well then. Its not like you're getting snubbed while others get a better deal.

But all this doesn't matter. The rich are in power. So the vast majority of those bailout billions went to who? No one I know. Seems like the rich always get richer. Republican prez, democrat prez. It makes no difference what so ever.
