Was just wondering, I have 500 miles on my busa and the engine coolant in the over flow tank is dark allready. Does anyone else have the same thing? I don't remember it getting dark that fast but i could be wrong. Thanks

i have noticed the same thing. although this is my first water cooled modern sport bike, i have no prior experience with this. also, i've noticed that when you look at the brake master cylinder and the clutch master cylinder, the brake fluid is crystal clear, yet the clutch fluid is a dark brown. is this normal? (also never owned a bike with a hydraulic clutch) please advise as i would like to have it checked if the fluids are supposed to remain the same clear consistency. thanks.

Ok guess its ok for the coolant to turn dark so soon, other friends with new bikes are the same, no more neon green coolant. As far as clutch fluid turning brown, thats from the heat of the motor turning it that color. Your brake fluid will turn brown also but it will take longer. Its normal.
