Engine Apart need performance tips please

A buddy has a engine apart.To get great hp gains what would be some good modes to do while the bike is open.I would appreciate any help

Why not look into going to a 1441? Everything looks pretty straightforward but for headwork, depending on how he would far he would want to go, I would leave that to the machine shop. HD valve springs at least. Studs instead of bolts, HP oil valve. Good cam chain. Used blocks with pistons on psychobike all the time for those.
