That will do nicely bro. Great pics and videos by the way. What is your rpm in 6th gear, with the TRE turned on and the mph needle pegged?

didnt have time to notice. lol ill be sure to see what im at this weekend, and we will see whats up with yours tricking you into thinking u have 187limit.

and with tre on, the needle can be pegged, but theres no way to tell how fast im going. cause i can still be accelerating. i will need to turn it off, and see where im at at speed cut.

i had the pumpkin dynoed not too long ago and thought i would share it with my busa kin. It made 171.73 with a full muzzy exhaust and no pc3. If you look at the fuel curve, that thing is pretty spot on. While i still plan to get a pc3 it is really low, low, low on my must acquire list. On the other hand, a nitrous kit will be ordered at the end of the month. The bike hit the rev limiter at 11,000 rpm, which was also 187 mph. I have a tre installed, but i guess unless i change the rear sprocket and go down a tooth or two in the rear, this is pretty much all she can do. Feel free to chime in fellas.

what hp does that convert to at the crank ?, just curious.

Just a little over 195, maybe 198, factoring a 12% loss of power through the beefy trans. For all I know the bike may never even have had the advertised 195 at the crank. I just know the thing is a beast, but I need more power to keep up with my k5 and my buddies k7 GSXR 1000 on a roll-on.

Glad you asked. Seen Zx14s with basic bolt-ons register high 160's and ZX10's in the mid to high 150's. The Gen 1 Busa, I have seen at 155, with a slip on and PC3. I dynoed mine to get a starting point for my other mods. Number really is not that important, just the increase...decrease.

I have read in several places including the Power Commander site that max power is made at about 13.3 to 13.6 to 1 air fuel ratio. I would agree that your bike is running lean. Youu can tune these bikes for power or relative economy. As set up I think the bikes are lean. I got 57 mpg on my first trip on the bike. Great milage but I think I can get better power and smoother throtle response with a richer mixture.
