drag racing leathers

i was wanting to get a set of leathers to start drag racing in all the leathers i look at have the short leg where you have to wear the big boots i want some that are long legged and straight to wear more of the shorter style of boots like alot of the nhra style any help also does it matter if it is a 1 piece of 2 piece suit

Vanson and Bates are the two top Drag Racing leathers manufacturers. However be prepared to wait as I believe they are all customs. I couldn’t afford the high end so I’m using road race leather I happened to find used.

1 or 2 piece is usually rider preference. IMO you have to be in pretty good shape for the 1 piece to look halfway decent. If you get a two piece set they will have to fasten with a full zipper. Most of the better stuff will. At the track almost everything you will see is two piece.
