do i have to go for remapping if i put a TRE?

hi ppl out there, i wonder do i have to go remapping for my bike if i put a TRE? Well my bike is in stock condition oni mod is the TRE stuff. And y does the rpm seem to slow down at around 2k before it come to a rest at the idling u set after u close the throttle? by the way how do i know whether my TRE is working on my bike as i am just using a 6.9k resistor? anyone got infor pls share with me....

yep because you map in 2-3-4th gear the TRE puts it in 5th gear so you run rich.
and the tuner need to know you have a TRE
If not you will run too lean in 5th and 6th

you map rich in gears 1-4 so it will be correct in 5th still will be lean in 6th.
or you map rich in 5th so it will be correct in 6th

ok will get the mapping done next week as my mech is bz these few days. the reason of the rpm will slow down is due to the mapping right? how do i know tat the 6.9k resistor(TRE) is working?
