Is it normal for the bike to say Chec when the key is on but the bike off. I noticed it the other day but just assumed it was like a cars check engine light that goes on when you turn the car to run and goes out (hopefully) when the car is running. I have no manual so any input would help. The bike runs fine with no problems. 03 with 1900 miles. Thanks!!

Yes normal especially if your bike is in gear when off.
