any prep work have to be done to the parts themselves?

like many LE owners, I would like to get my rearsets and passenger brackets as well as pegs (i have aftermarket pegs without rubber), rear brake hanger, rear brake arm, and possibly rear axle blocks that are on each side...all done in satin black.

You can do the bolts for the rearsets as well...just poke them through cardboard and lightly hit them from the top.

As far as prep work - I just hit everything real quick and light with the beadblaster turned down pretty low. I thought about doing the bolts but just got lazy I guess. I'm getting Vortex rearsets soon anyway so the front ones won't be on there for long anyway.

He's supposed to do some flat black soon, I'm anxious to see how close it is in color to the OEM black on the LE's.
