So ive got a full setup of powdercoating equipment sandblaster and a oven and am about to start powder coating parts. Well as soon as i figure out what im doing. Anyone actually know what they are doing? If so any tips? ive watched a couple videos on youtube but figured id ask all you wonder people out there. Im doing all the work on my bike myself, paint powdercoat etc.

Travis at TM powder coating is a sponsor here. Super nice guy.
Send him a pm. He may be willing to give you a few pointers.

Sometimes it helps to pre heat the part...that way the powder sticks in the hard to reach areas (faraday effect)

Read about degassing the metals. This prevents orange peel and fish eyes.
Ive had the best luck spraying the part when its around 200F and then placing it in the oven
watch carefully the first stages of the flow process.

yeah i read about degassing and preheating the metals, im trying to figure out if its best to sandblast and then clean with aircraft stripper or just sandblast... preheat, spray then put back in the oven and watch for it to flow then time out the rest of the bake..... <- that should be the right process right
