CUT OUT is not a Recall, Just a Bulletin

Well here we have a couple of numbers for you with a cutout problem:

Suzuki Service Bulletins, ask your dealer to produce these for your information.

4-Stroke GS/GSX/GSX-R No. 108
4-Stroke GS/GSX/GSX-R No. 109 Date 9.8.99

New parts:

Fuel Petcock 44300-24F02
Fuel Pump Insulator 15130-24F10

Suzuki does not want to declare this a recall, so your dealer must claim it as a warranty situation.

Read the Bulletins this way I do not creat any confusion on this topic, but some new parts are to be installed and some exixting parts are to be replaced.

Thanks KawAbuser.

The guy who dynoed me yesterday is also the head of his Suz dealership's service department. He told me there is a bulletin out or coming out shortly on the Cush drive.

Can you use your Deep Throat source to get that bulletin, too?

I will get any and all that you need from my dealer today if you would like, it's no big deal.

I will go before I leave for PPIR, bad news is I won't be back until Monday.

I don't have a clue about the cush drive, it's not a new part (same as GSXR750). Could be a bad batch of material it's made from. Guess we need to wait and see.

Please do not run to your dealers unless you have the problem. The Bulletins are very clear that there must be an operational problem before they will change or do anything. They will also check to se if your intake and exhaust is stock.
Be responsible with the information.
Bob
