CC debt has been zero for almost a year. About $30k at one point (2002). Married into that one. Use one CC religiously but pay it off every month.

Have $10k set aside for a Busa. Waiting to see what 07' model has in store but skeptical about the first edition blues. We shall see.

i had a ton of debt up to last month, i got a check from smith barney....and now i got none!
woohooo cool.gif

O CC debt as of TODAY!!!! Paid off 1k on it this afternoon!! WOO HOO!!! tounge.gif

Zero here, too. Average in the USA is about $6,000. That's why just about everyone is in the first category.

Only have one left. 6k balance and 0% until we get it paid off. I would be pooping bricks if I had 20%interest rate.

It seems that most of these companies get their jollies by ripping off the, well...more disadvantaged, lets say. But that's a whole nother rant.

i just got my first credit card in like 10 years...have it at a 1500 limit ...use it like a debit card let go for about a month then pay it off....ever notice credit is like paying a bum on the street to say good things about you of course he loans you his bottle first lol

i never buy more with a card than i can pay at the end of the month.
i know some of my friends at work run up some high credit card bills. one has re fianced his house twice to pay off debt. used right a c.c. is a good thing.

Never owned a CC, never will. My Visa debit has always worked for me.

we spend 4000 to 6000 a month and pay it off every month

...and my limit is creeping up slowly but surely.

started with 5k 6yrs ago now it's 40k.

Should I tell then to lower it since I don't need 40k or keep it in case of emergency?
