Thursday the 8th will be my 40th birthday. I'm thinking about riding up to Tahoe for lunch, then taking Carson Pass back to the Valley and meandering back to the Bay Area.

Who wants to join me?

Leave the East Bay by 9-10 am and get back by 6 pm.

I would go also. But the bus is still tore down. My chrome is due to be done on the 8th and should have it by the following mon or tues.
 
I am planning on going.. Will have to figure where I will meet up with everyone.. I will be coming up the 5 probably

First off, Happy Birthday!! I am sooooo tempted to take thursday off (again!) and go with you, but I just took last thursday off for my B-day, and then I am taking next thursday off to go ride in Vegas with Doc and the gang...

I'm trying to get my priorities straight.... Hmmmmm, work and make some much needed money, or go ride all day....

Ok, well Buzz cant make it.. So my current plans are I will meet whomever at the junction Russ mentioned, once I figure out where it is. Then on the way back, if my arse can handle it. I plan on heading to Santa Cruz and spending Thursday night with my cousin, then I will head back in the morning.

Speaking of Arses. Anyone have a quick solution to my a$$ getting sore. The last ride I went on was about 6 hours, and about the last hour of it I was starting to get pretty uncomfortable on the seat.

Anyone have an idea (other than purchase a new seat, don't have the time nor money for that at the moment).
 
Alrighty, looks like Sane_man, Thrasherfox, and maybe one or 2 others will be out in the morning heading for Tahoe.

IF you decide to join us, I'm stopping on the North side of the Carcinas Bridge @ 9am ish for about 10 minutes, We'll be going slowish onto Sac and picking up Brian around Fairfield, North Texas on ramp, stopping @ the I-50 Shingle Springs Exit and hanging until Thrasherfox and company or 11:30 comes around. On to Tahoe, stop at a casino for lunch...

Gas up and head out via the Carson Pass Route 88 down to Lodi, then split up.

Give Thrasher or I a shout tonight if you plan on joining up, a cell number would help.
 
You all missed it. It was a great ride! Thrasherfox rode up from Hanford (200ish miles) to meet Sane_man and I at the Shingle Springs exit off Hwy 50.

Yup, 3 pumpkinz!  What a hoot!  and then to make things even more interesting, a guy walks up to us and asks us where we're going and says he's got a Busa to.  We tell him to Tahoe for lunch and he looks at the sandwich he just bought and say's " I guess this is going in the fridge, can I come with you guys?"

Now there are 4 Busaz
