I've been told to drain the green stuff out of my radiator for track days.

What (if anything) should be added to water in the radiator on a bike that is going to be used exclusively on the track? (not for racing, just track days).

Thanks.

After you flush your radiator you will have two options. Use water and WaterWetter or you can use EngineIce. I have been using EngineIce in my bike for about 6 months. It seems to handle the 100 degree temps here in Texas better than standard Anti-Freeze. There is no mixing with EngineIce, just make sure you flush your radiator fully prior to using EngineIce. My coolant temperature never goes above the halfway mark and the fan only kicks in if I’m setting at a traffic stop for an extended period.

I have not used WaterWetter before, but I have heard good comments from people on this product also. My .02 cents…

According to NESBA's 2006 Rider's Manual, EngineIce is no longer allowed (if you're in the Advanced class).

WaterWetter is still allowed.
