converting my 08 gray to 09 white with 1000 fender

When I saw the 09 white hayabusa I just had to have one. I got lucky and found a few pieces of white cheap and gathered all the other stuff up pretty quickly and made the swap. I used a 08 1000 front fender and used the stock gray rectifier cover and I think it turned out great.

Looks Great! Where did you find the parts? I also wanted the white but they didn't make it for the 08 and it cost to much to buy the plastic's. Good job

What's the reason for the swap?

The levers are perfect for the bars, my fingers fall right to them without having to lift them up to get over the levers. I love the bars, best mod I ever did. Bike now feels 50# lighter on the front end because of all the extra leverage I have, those slow tight corners are a breeze now.

Feels fine as far as that goes but it is much harder to "lay" on the tank that is sometimes kinda nice on a long ride.
