Clutch pushrod

I was recently cleaning behind the front sprocket cover and noticed that the clutch pushrod is all rusty and pitted. I always put a coat of grease on it every time I have that area open, so I'm surprised it rusted so much. Is this a problem? I don't want any rust getting inside the clutch, but I don't want to replace the pushrod if it's just going to rust again so quickly.

good question...... you must ride in the rain, or wash yer bike alot.

try replacing it and have a nice ride!
