My clutch is disengaging in the first ¾ of lever pull. Seems like it should not disengage so soon. Is it common and ok to have it at this point or should it be set to disengage with a bit more lever pull.

Thanks.

Um, I am pretty sure that my clutch is fully disengaged within the first 1/2 of it's travel. I like it this way cause it allows me to use just two fingers on the clutch and still get it fully disengaged.

Sounds like yours is pretty normal.

Damn, I am such a bone head....
I ment to say that it is disengaging in the first 3/4 inch and can shift no problem with 1 inch pull.
Not just 3/4 of complete travel.

So I would assume that it is a bit tight!

if it doesn't, bleed it , just like brakes...

I know the clutch is hydro but did not know if it was adjustable at the (not sure of the name on busa) clutch arm or throw out bearing.

Thanks Revlis.....Just making sure.

the Busa has neither a clutch arm nor a throw out bearing.

clutch arm- bikes/cars with a cable actuated clutch.

throw out bearing- cars/some bikes(sorta) .

anyway....hav a more/less informed 1......RSD.

it is sorta ajustable thou... at the lever .
