Just wondering if anyone else has this issue?

I always have to use the choke to start and warm up the bike. If I do not use the choke then the engine seems to be very hesitant and runs very rough, even when the outside temp is in the 80's.

Its not a choke but a fast idle

Your idle rpm is probably low.

Yup, check your idle. I try to keep mine around 1100 - 1200 rpm.

My idle is set at 1200 and if it is a cool day (below 60) I have to use my fast idle for 10-15 seconds then I switch over to regular idle....Not a problem at all....Have fast idle set to 2250 and regular idle around 1150-1200

picked up my 06 and it is same way they have the idle at aout 900-1000rpm cold and it causes the cold motor to stumble, so I use about 1/2 setting on enrichener and back it off as it warms up...

Tom, all you have to do is ride a little bit more with the front tire off the ground!
That'll fix that prob!
