Just wanna check with you guys before I attempt the valve clearance check and throttle synch on my 2002 busa with 19000 miles.
I have read the stickies already posted and I have the morgan carbtune guages and feeler guages, along with all other general mechanics tools.
Do I need any new gaskets or special plugs before I start the job?
Some manuals recommend replacing the head cover gasket and some other gaskets too I think.
Is it even necessary to go to the bother of checking the valve clearance with this mileage, as I have heard that its highly unlikely for them to be outside limits with only 19000 miles on it, and also a bike that had regular oil changes and hasnt been thrashed, or whats the lowest mileage that anyone here had to make some adjustment at?
