well if I go for a long ride..it stops charging then runs down batt . I replaced STATOR & REGULATOR and new interstate batt. not only will it stop charging it burns up RECTIFIER? can some one Help!!!

This is on the 05 that you had the coil problems with? Is the rectifier bad now? With the electrical problems that you have had, I suspect there is more than a charging issue. What is the history of the bike? Also, did you replace the stator with a stock unit or the larger one? Any other electrical issues currently? Lights, gauges, etc? I would check the fuse panel under the left side inner and the main fuse under the seat on the left side and see if the correct fuses (sizes) are in place... Also, I would check all the wiring from the stator to ensure that there are no intermittent connections or cut wires/shorts...

first got the bike had to replace the coils and CDI-ECM do to over charging replaced the REGULATOR toasted it!! then replaced stator and regulator still doing the same ?

I feel your pain. I just fixed my charging problems, ( I hope) if I went on a 30 min or longer ride my batt would drain. I pulled the tail plastic off sat and the plug on the rec. was melted. the plug under the tank coming from the stator was melted. I ran new 10 gauge wires and solder everything. before when at idle the batt had 12.3- 12.7 v. now it has 14.5- 14.7 at idle. we'll see if that fixed anything.

I will try anything thank you all for your help I'm on the edge of going to the shop! it has cost me a lot what's $140. a hour if any one can come up with are thing please let me know thanks
