can you powder coat stock swing arm?

hey guys i am having my wheels powdercoated and while i was at it i figured i would do my swing arm also. is this ok or will the extreme heat of the powdercoating process damage something?

Go for it! I'd punch out the bearings and replace w/ new ones. Just make sure you pull off all the other parts first

I bought a stock swingarm off of ebay and powdered it at work, even doing it myself it turned out great, you shouldn't have any issuesd. i'd make sure they media blast it first.

If you are going to powdercoat it black, You would be better off buying one off an LE or 07 model and save some money. You will probably spend more for prep & powdercoat than buying one stock.

Check ebay , You could buy one off of there for around $100 or so.
