The Raptor was neat to see. First time I've seen it up close.

No Stealth or gunships though. All the helicopters were Black Hawk derivatives but all different configurations.

Went to the air show at Beale AFB some time back and they had the Stealth on the ground, then one of the U-2 Spy planes in the air. That was cool.



Best part was likely the fighter jet doing the individual show. He points the jet up at at 30 degree angle and floats down the runway about a 100 feet off the ground. Amazing.

Look for the Edwards AFB air show in southern California, its in October usually every other year. Edwards is home to the USAF flight test center as well as NASA. Almost every aircraft in the airforce inventory is there even the new F-35 joint strike fighter as well as the F-22 and B-2.
