Bright light ............lighting up????????

My new '09 has a funny quirk that occurs at acceleration. Sometimes the bright light signal comes on when I hit the throttle hard.
I have the Tach light set at 8500 and the bike is still in the break in period, so I never go above 5000 rpm's

This never happened on the other '09 and only occurs every now and then.

It is the blue light on the right lower side of the cluster.

Could be an older glitch that never got attention, this bike is older then the first.

It just kind of flashes and caught my attention a few times while I was dozing off!
Not a big deal but wakes me up when I am trying to catch up on a few winks B/4 work.

Odd power surge seems to be affecting that one indicator for some reason. Could be a loose connector that may be seting itself up for a short. (If in the future you ever have the intrument cluster off...could take a peek at it then)
Just keep an eye on it. As long as you don't see it occurring in any other indicators you should be ok.

Are you sure it's not the high-beam indicator? You might have a bad switch.
