Which color of wire is the hot wire to the brake light for the brake indication? I am not looking for the tail light that is constantly on, but the one that notifies drivers behind you that you are braking.
I have looked at the maintenance manual for the K8 and figure that there are 3 wires for the brake/tail light out of the cluster connector in the back. I assume that the Br (brown) is for the ground, then the W/B (white/blue) or the B/W (blue/white) are the running and brake lights.
I am hoping that some one can help me out with this information as I am drawing up the plans and gathering information to install the CCS-100 this weekend. I plan to hook the LED brake light to a relay to provide a signal for the CCS-100 to disengage, but need to know which is the actual brake light indication wire.
