Agree, one nice thing about those roadsmarts is that they are dual compound. But as you say with the torque that was my thought. Harder compound in the center and softer on the shoulders, could slip on hard gassing or shifting with the high mileage centers.

I'd rather ride even in the rain then drive, and the only other tire I have on the side is a M/T ET Drag slick.... And it doesn't corner well at all.

Just gotta decide what you want out of the tire.
