Bike running rich

I have a 99busa almost stock I have D@D slip ons and a K@n air filter.I can tell by the spark plugs and I can smell it.Do my bike need to be mapped.

Re-mapping the bike should definitely help you out.

With D&D slip ons and a K&N filter with a stock map? I'd say your running lean not rich. Dunno how you would be getting too much fuel into the motor when all you have done is marginally increase the amount of Air Available...

Seems odd. Plugs Dark and Gunky or Pale tan?

The bike was running like that before I change the air filter to a K@N . The                               plugs were dark when i change them.
