bike got a tad warm today

I got engine ice in it and a muzzy fan so the thing is like a thermal rock, no problems ever...

Looked down and it was very high but comming down (cause I was movin') was in traffic.

I'm at work so I can't take the plastics off till I get home but I let it get just past midway and the fan was just sitting idle looking at me.

Think it's the fan motor or a sensor or something else?

Sounds normal to me. The fan doesn't run until it is way up there.

Nah...my fan kicks on just when it reaches over the halfway mark...I was almost in red and nothing.

Very not normal...

Maybe your fan was union made and needed a break.

My guess would be fan motor or relay..... The computer should kick in the relay circuit based upon the same sensor that is giving you the high reading on the display.
