Big red - new r&d tranny installed

Just put the R&D tranny in and took her out for a little T&T yesterday, private track style at BMP.
Johnny Dorbin was piloting the bike during this session, and doing a pretty fair job at it as well (190lbs dry).

With the new race cut tranny we were able to take a little more kill out her and needed to adjust the clutch a bit.

We have also been swopping out the Multi-Stage with a 2-Stage for Street Stock races, so it kinda throws-off any consistentcy that could otherwise be realized if we were static with our clutch set-up.

Yesterday we ran with the Multi-Stage.
After a couple of runs, and a new stack of plates, we got the clutch working pretty good, not perfect, but pretty good.

The sixty foots were still hurting a bit.... 1.47 - 1.49.... we'll get back to the 1.42 - 1.44 range next time.

At the end of the day we had 3 back-to-back runs in the 8.4X's

This was a short term goal that we were hoping to reach yesterday.

Big Red went:
8.49
8.47
8.45

I was a proud fool

Yesterday my new Marvics also came in, but did not have time to put them on yet.
Hoping with the reduced spun-weight we can drop another 1/10th

All-in-all.... this ole girl has been a real love / hate relationship for the past couple of years... but it's times like these that make it worth while.

Yeah but you've done a good job considering the trials early on ..... but you did not bail out !

At the level your at now , E/T won't come in larger steps anylonger but you know that .

Thats a hell for fast streetbike . You have worked hard so enjoy
