Best method for cleaning out a fuel tank

Removed the fuel pump today on my 2007 Hayabusa, been sitting 3 plus years. A lot of crud in the tank and on the pump housing, etc. What's the best method for cleaning the tank out thoroughly? Thanks in advance.

Removed the fuel pump today on my 2007 Hayabusa, been sitting 3 plus years. A lot of crud in the tank and on the pump housing, etc. What's the best method for cleaning the tank out thoroughly? Thanks in advance.

So, I checked into the tank cleaning, 2 gallons of white vinegar, soak 24-48 hours, then rinse with baking soda/water combo, blow out with compressed air, then heat gun or blow dryer to dry thoroughly and fill with fuel.
I'll post my tank cleaning adventure when I'm finished.
