best clutch setup for LSR and street

For street and lsr, NLR boost compensated clutch hands down.

IMHO, LSR yes, street, no. The newest multistage - the Gen 2 - uses the slider basket and runs off engine speed as previously stated. The entire setup is $2300, well worth it. Even the older version for $1200 is a great choice for a street turbo . . .

is it better to use a clutch cable conversion or use the stock hydraulic style master cylinder for gen 2 multistage clutch or does it matter?

Does not really matter. Some riders - especially drag racers - feel they get more control over their launch with the cable setup. They also like the ability to place the clutch lever exactly where they want in relation to the handlebars . . .
