Still room for improvement...the more you go the better you get. Not all about mods, but the 1st 60' Good tire and hard launch and a stock Busa will eat........

I have been away from the track for some time. This year i decided i had to get back.

Best pass so far was about a month ago
5.995 @ 129.33
9.081 @ 153.44

I went to a track rental a few weeks ago,had a few issues. Best run of the day was a 9.258 @ 153.85

I changed a few things since (clutch springs, shifter setup) and more gear,i will be running it this week.

4'' over,with a dry shot

It's too far of a drive to get to a 1/4 mile track so I'll stick to the 1/8th but I was wondering what kind of times people have to run in the 1/8th to be in the 8's (even 8.99) in the 1/4. I understand that there are alot of factors other than ET so and estimate is all i am looking for.

(JestersBusa @ Jun. 04 2007,07:15) MY BEST TIME WAS 6.50 @ 118 RUNNING 11PSI ON A 200 SHINKO
Do you have more then 1 timeslip ?
the track w have here doesnt actually hand out timeslips but i can run constant 6:70-6:60......i'd like to get some nitrous and a power commander but i dont think its gonna improve much in the 1/8th of a mile

With a DOT tire i used to run 6.40's with no juice, 6.20's with a Dry Kit .036 jet (40hp).

The diff between the DOT tire and the slick i run now was 6.40's to 6.19 last weekend with no juice.

Either of these dropped two tenths off my 1/8th so combined they will be worth quite a bit.

A good rider on a good setup can get into the high 5's so there is some room there.

Seat time is the most important thing, I know that my bike has alot left in it but my skillz are just not there yet.

9.95 @ 139.xx next pass was a 9.98 @ 139.88 in qualifying I’ll have to find those slips for the 1/8 times

Same day in eliminations quickest 1/8 6.477 @112.54 but I rolled out near the 1000’ ¼ was 10.108 @ 123.59 normally I run 138-140 mph in the 1/4

Pipe and PC with Stock swingarm 230lb rider in shorts

From your times / mph above comparing to the runs of my competitors against me on Busas and 14s. You should be in the 9.5-9.6 range in the ¼ now.
