Batteries??

Yeah I know do a search,did that,couldn't find an answer...2008 takes a YTX12-BS,10 amp,is there another batt.,that has more CCA then the stock OEM Batt....that will fit under the seat???...I know on the gen. 1,you could install a bigger batt.,can you do that on Gen.2??? THX Dr.N

Cross reference your part against the MotoBatt number. Other trick to this is look up your dimensions of your battery and look it up backwards (by dimensions).

Btw, on the Gen-I, we use the Fast by Gast battery, but requires cutting the seat pan out a little to get it to fit.

Other thing you can look at is more exotic batteries (think about $250) which have lots of CCA.



CCA is now at about 240 & fits in the palm of your hand.
