bad startter

How do i know my stater isn t working,the battery is good,but starter dosen t turn, how can i check it,amd how hard is to change, thanks for any help.

Your battery might not be as good as you think. Sometimes, the battery will turn everything on but it's down enough to not be able to crank the engine over. How old is it? What year is your bike? The '02 and '03 starters had some problems.

You maybe right, battery looks good,but don t hold charge.  Bike is 2002,i just check it tonight,the starter is good and the battery is bad.i also got a new one. Thanks for  your help.

Time for a new battery, man. Do a search on here for battery or batteries. There are some good recommendations.
