Maybe u can weld it, grind it down just enough to put a case saver on it, light a Jesus candle and pour some chicken blood over it and pray it holds lol otherwise u need new cases

Any of those chunks could get caught up in the cam chain and potentially break it, and the pieces that already broke I’m pretty sure are working their way down to the oil pan everytime it’s running. Could tear up more stuff, I’d park it and fix it.
That's all I want to know

pictures not zoomed as much would help

alumium chunks dropped onto a running lower cam chain gear would most likely just get chewed up

What's all the cracking in the case that can been seen in the second picture? It looks like that is compromised..

Numerous tiny cracks are shown here, might be its repairable but replacing with a new one would be better option to me.
Cost wise, it's not a good time rn.
Out of work healing fractured & infected ankle from when cager ran red-light forcing me to dump. Looks like I didn't get my leg under bike enough to prevent the damage .

That's sad to hear....was this a recent accident?

Were you on the Busa?

Yes. Early Dec. Had to dump her on right side when cager ran light in early am. Bike came out in white ped crosswalk paint.
Started right up & ran fine til cpl wks later starter to be hard start. Changed batt, rect, stator, starter but a few key twists too late as starter 'froze'.
