BACKFIRING

I installed D&D slip-ons about 4 weeks ago and there is slowly worsening backfiring when I quickly roll off the throttle. How do I illiminate this and can it damage my engine?

Did you remove the pair valve?

Poke around here a little and check in the Modifications section. You are looking for the "PAIR" valve removal thread. Get you Pair off and get some block off plates before your baby goes boom...

I had that problem with my microns slip-ons so i switched to regular gas instead of premium and that just about eliminated all the backfiring.
